STUDENTS AND YOUTH
Habitat Chesapeake offers a variety of ways for schools and youth groups to become involved in our efforts to build decent, affordable housing for qualified, hardworking families.
College and University groups help connect their schools with the community through volunteerism, advocacy and fundraising. See what activities we have available, or share your ideas with us.
Elementary Age Youth may not be able to serve in our ReStores or on-site, but they can still become a part of the Habitat community!
High School Students are leading the way in the in our region, where programs like Build-A-Block offer opportunities for high schools throughout central Maryland to partner with Habitat Chesapeake to improve communities.
Youth Development Programs are an exciting opportunity to build new partnerships for many in our region. If your program might be a good fit with Habitat, we encourage you to reach out with a detailed description and a vision of what partnership might look like.
In addition to the programs listed above, many schools or student groups choose to participate with Habitat Chesapeake by spearheading specific fundraising projects. If your school is interested in group fundraising for Habitat Chesapeake, please contact Betsy Wilmerding at firstname.lastname@example.org or 443-297-5245.
Individual students interested in fundraising for Habitat Chesapeake are encouraged to learn more about our independent fundraising opportunities.
