Women Build

What is Women Build?

Women Build is a highly regarded Habitat for Humanity volunteer program for women who want to make a difference by building homes and revitalizing neighborhoods. This project is about inspiring women to take action against poverty housing conditions. Women come together in a safe, fun work environment to raise funds and build a Habitat house for a local Maryland family in need.

Fundraising for the 2012 Women Build house in Baltimore City is underway now!
The goal is $100,000 and as of April 12, 2012, a total of $26,025 has already been committed.

You can create change in Baltimore communities by empowering women through homeownership and financial responsibility. Women Build Baltimore volunteers will take ownership of this initiative. You are invited to join us!

Lowe’s is a national partner with Habitat for Humanity International for Women Build. By 2013, Lowe’s will have contributed nearly $40 million to Habitat’s work.
