Faith in Action: Large-scale greening project in Brooklyn

Building on Faith is a chance for all of our faith partners to meet and work side-by-side in fellowship as we help the residents of Brooklyn landscape entire blocks of their neighborhood. Faith Partners of all ages are invited to participate!
We are all called by our faith to make a difference in the community, and Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake is putting that faith to work to improve the living conditions of over 40 Habitat homes in Brooklyn. This is a large-scale greening project that will transform Brooklyn for years to come, a visible symbol of what faith can make possible. We will be planting seeds, building on faith and visibly transforming the streetscape of this neighborhood, while working alongside a number of our homeowners.
